Head of the Turkish-Azerbaijani Circle (TAD) and head of the Turkish Center for International Relations and Strategic Studies (TURKSAM) Sinan Ogan won a MP mandate in the elections to the Turkish Grand National Assembly.

Ogan was the main candidate from the Nationalist Movement Party of Igdir.

Ogan is an ethnic Azerbaijani. He was born in 1967 in Igdir. He graduated from the University of Marmara in 1989.

Ogan worked as deputy dean at the Azerbaijan State Economic University from 1993 to 2000.

In 2000, he returned to Turkey and started working at the Eurasian Center for Strategic Studies on the Caucasus region. He laid the foundation of TURKSAM in 2004.

In 2009. Ogan received a doctor of philosophy degree in international relations and political science at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations.
