Leadership of Azerbaijani ruling party meets young people on National Salvation Day

The leadership of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) has met with young people on the National Salvation Day. The meeting, held in Surakhani district organization of NAP, was attended by NAP deputy chairman, executive secretary, MP Ali Ahmedov, the head of Surakhani district executive power Ilgar Abbasov, NAP deputy executive secretary, MP Mubariz Gurbanli, youth and intellectuals of Surakhani district.
Making key remarks to the event, the chairman of Surakhani district organization of NAP Vugar Seyidov spoke about Heydar Aliyev's return to power in a period when Azerbaijan was in a difficult political situation, and told about Heydar Aliyev's role in strengthening the country's independence.
According to Ahmedov, Heydar Aliyev's historical return gave a new meaning and content to the concept of "independence".
"The people, who then invited Heydar Aliyev to power, in fact presented his return as the restoration of stability and prosperity. Heydar Aliyev was aware of the aspirations of the people and his rescue mission. He considered his historical mission in light of a long period of time. Heydar Aliyev was thinking about the development of people. Conducting oil, land, political reforms after restoring stability ensured the strengthening of independence," said Ahmedov.
He said Heydar Aliyev's policy is successfully continued today by the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. Today, Azerbaijan is developing successfully, and each citizen can contribute to this process.
According to Ahmedov, the people, especially youth are directly involved in the development of Azerbaijani society.
