The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev proposes the SCO countries to create an agency with functions of cyberpol for protection from crimes in the Internet space.
"The stage of the SCO formation has successfully passed, and now it needs to set up new tasks for the organization," the President said at the opening of the SCO summit in Astana.

According to the President, it is time to include in the international law the concept of "electronic borders" and "e-sovereignty".
"Terrorism, separatism and drug trafficking are using the global Internet network for implementation in our countries, spread throughout the world. This destructive network is one more threat, so the SCO countries should urgently put an overall strong barrier before it," Nazarbayev said.
At the same time, the President believes it is important to be open to new constructive ideas and new technologies.
The jubilee summit of SCO takes place today in Astana. Leaders of SCO countries will be summing up the first ten years of the activities of the organization, identify ways of further development and sign a package of documents, the main of which will be the Astana Declaration of the decade.
