President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received today Pakistan`s ambassador Abdul Hamid who has completed his diplomatic mission in the country, Azerbaijani President's official website reported.
The ambassador said during his tenure he witnessed great respect from the Azerbaijani people.
He thanked the Azerbaijani government and personally President Ilham Aliyev for the favorable conditions created for his activity as an ambassador.
President Ilham Aliyev, in turn, said Azerbaijan-Pakistan bilateral relationship was developing successfully, describing it as relations between countries that are allies.
The Head of State expressed confidence that relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan would further develop.
President Ilham Aliyev highly appreciated ambassador Abdul Hamid`s contribution to development of the bilateral relations and wished him successes in his future activities.
