Uzbek President Islam Karimov signed a decree dismissing Chairman of the State Committee on De-monopolization and Competition Jahongir Ismailov and appointing him as First Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Education and Director of the Center of Secondary Special Vocational Education, a source in the government told Trend.
Jahongir Ismailov has been working as the head of State Committee since March 2010. He was earlier deputy chairman of "Uzbekneftegaz" National Holding Company since September 2006.
