Georgia , Tbilisi, July 21 / Trend N.Kirtzkhalia /

Two persons involved in the case of photographers-spies in Georgia appealed to conclude procedural agreements with prosecutors.

The lawyers of photographers Zurab Qurtsikidze and Giorgi Abdaladze stated that they demanded the conclusion of the procedural agreement after today's additional questioning.

Both pleaded guilty in the transmission of classified information to the Russian intelligence agencies. The meeting was held in Gldani prison, where the photographers are kept.

However, some of the lawyers stated they would not protect the interests of their wards if they conclude a procedural agreement. One of Abdaladze's lawyers Eka Beselia said her ward is not guilty and does not require the procedural agreement.

In case of signing the procedural agreement, there will not be an open trial process. NGOs and journalists supporting the arrested photographers oppose this .

The Counter Intelligence Department of the Georgian Interior Ministry has detained the following persons: Zurab Qurtsikidze, the representative of European Photo Agency, Irakli Gedenidze, photographer of the President's Administration, his spouse Natia Gedenidze, and Giorgi Abdaladze, photographer of the Georgian Foreign Ministry. They are accused of spying. Natia Gedenidze was released on bail.

The trial; will start on Sept. 1.
