Azerbaijani opposition party against youth participation in radical rallies
Azerbaijan, Baku, July 26 / Trend T. Hajiyev /
Young people must not be used for radical rallies of opposition parties, secretary for press and propaganda of the Azerbaijani National Independence Party Ali Orujov told Trend.
He said that some political parties nominate young people to the forefront in the struggle with the authorities.
"Some parties use the youth mostly in street protests," he said. "We think that youth must not only participate in mass actions. The Azerbaijani National Independence Party intends to use intellectual potential of young people rather than physical force."
"The work is underway to attract new members," he said. "We want to complete this work until the fall."
He said that the conditions will be created for youth activities in various structures of the party, including the management.
