President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has inspected repair and reconstruction work at schools in Baku districts.
Some 111 educational facilities, including 54 schools and 57 kindergartens, are under reconstruction as part of the 2011-2013 State Program for socio-economic development of Baku and its districts.
The President first inspected the repair and reconstruction work at school No. 225 in Yasamal district. The Head of State was told that the facility, which won the best school award last year, was built in 1964. The four-storied 729-seat school has 38 class rooms.
President Aliyev then visited school No. 35 in Nasimi district.
He was told the 450-seat school was built in 1930. After the reconstruction the school will receive an additional three-storied block featuring 20 classrooms, and a sports hall.
