Georgia's former Foreign Minister and former Security Council Secretary Tedo Japaridze was appointed as the foreign co-director of the Energy Security Research Center at the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy.
Japaridze is already in Baku and will take the office in the near future
The center aims to work on issues of the safe transportation of Caspian energy resources, as well as global and regional energy security issues, , Japaridze told Georgian journalists.
Japaridze worked at the International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS) in Athens over the last three years.
