Iranian Vice President
Mohammad Reza Rahimi and Pakistani Prime Minister Yusuf Reza Gilani held a meeting, reported IRNA.
During his visit to Tehran, Gilani is being accompanied by Pakistani Foreign
Minister Hina Rabbani Khar.
The IRI-Pak officials' meeting is focused on the Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) which were signed last week, and especially on Iran's gas and electricity export to Pakistan.
Iran 's Foreign Minister
Ali Akbar Salehi visited Pakistan last week. During his visit, Iran and Pakistan signed four MoUs to promote cooperation in several fields.
The documents on cooperation were signed following a two day meeting of the Pakistan-Iran Joint Economic Commission (JEC) in Islamabad.
