Azerbaijan and Turkey have discussed joint projects in the defense sector.
Defense Industry Minister Yaver Jamalov has received a Turkish delegation headed by Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz, the Defense Ministry told Trend.
Jamalov informed the delegation about the progress made by Azerbaijan during independence. He named the creation of the Defense Industry Ministry as one of the major events in the country's recent history.
The meeting appraised the bilateral defense cooperation and expressed confidence in its further strengthening. The sides also discussed joint projects in defense.
