Some 35 officers working for internal bodies have been dismissed in 43 corruption cases in the course of nine months, Azerbaijani Interior Minister Ramil Usubov wrote in an article published today.
He said the necessary measures have been taken to prevent negative cases among military personnel.
For 20 years, the number of employees with a higher education and leading posts in middle and senior management has increased from 58.3 to 90 percent.
According to the rules of assembly for established posts on the rotation principle, 4,939 employees changed their place of service in 2007-2011, 583 employees were promoted to management posts, 715 employees of the ranks and junior officers were promoted to middle management posts, Usubov said.
