Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has today received the U.S Ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza, in connection with the completion of his diplomatic term.
Ambassador Bryza congratulated the President on his 50th birthday. He stressed that U.S. President Barack Obama's congratulatory letter in connection with the 50th birthday of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev shows how he appreciates the partnership between the U.S and Azerbaijan.
Stressing the visits to various regions during his diplomatic stay in Azerbaijan, Matthew Bryza said that during his travels he stressed Azerbaijan's beautiful countryside, rich culture, varying religious and spiritual values.
The President expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the U.S.
Shooing his appreciation for Matthew Bryza's diplomatic stay in Azerbaijan, President Aliyev thanked him for his contribution to the development of relations between Azerbaijan and the U.S and wished him success for the future.
