Azerbaijani opposition party may change political course

If Isa Gambar leaves his leading position in the Azerbaijani opposition party "Musavat", the political course of the party is expected to be changed, a source in the party told Trend today.
The organization men of the party will put forward the proposals to change the political course at the congress to be held in early March.
The political course of the party will be determined by the congress, the chairman of the party's Majlis Arzu Samadbayli told Trend.
He said that it is too early to express the opinion on this issue.
Deputy head of the party Gulaga Aslanli said that the political course of the party will not be changed.
"The party conducted a policy founded by Mammad Amin Rasulzade during the leadership of Isa Gambar," he said. "The party will maintain its course in the future, regardless of the person leading the party."
The head of the Azerbaijani opposition "Musavat" party Isa Gambar will leave his post. A new chairman will be elected at the congress, a member of the party Rauf Arifoglu told Trend today.
