Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Tornike Gordadze met with Deputy Secretary General for the European External Action Service for inter-institutional issues Maciej Popowski.
Popowski's visit to Georgia was organized by the EU monitoring mission in the country to study the situation on the ground, the press department of the Foreign Ministry told Trend on Tuesday.
The sides discussed a wide range of cooperation between Georgia and the EU, including the activities of the monitoring mission, topical issues of bilateral cooperation, such as agreements on association and free trade.
