The 22nd meeting under the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM), co-facilitated by the EU Monitoring Mission and the OSCE, took place in Ergneti today.

Participants reviewed recent detentions and incidents, including a shooting incident that took place in the area of the villages Zemo Nikozi and Kvemo Nikozi, and damage of warning signs at the South Ossetian Administrative Boundary Line (ABL), the EU Monitoring Mission told Trend on Monday.

Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the South Caucasus, Ambassador Pádraig Murphy, shared information regarding work on the Zonkari Dam, while the EUMM presented results of the technical working group in relation to agricultural work near the ABL.

A suggestion to provide information on known mines and other remnants of war at the next IPRM meeting was welcomed by all participants.

The next meeting will take place on May 25 2012. Information on known mines and other remnants of war will be provided during this meeting.
