Georgian Ministry of Defence to continue reforms in way of integration into NATO

All the reforms that were initiated during the leadership of Bacho Akhalaia will continue in the Defense Ministry, told reporters on Tuesday Dimitri Shashkin who was appointed defense minister said.
In particular, Georgia's aspiration to NATO integration continues, Shashkin said.
"We will do everything possible to make the country more secure. In addition, the department will take care about the welfare of each member and officer. We will continue the important reform, which Bacho Akhalaia began to develop weapons of local production," Shashkin said.
Former education minister also said that his resignation from the post of Minister of Education Office will not affect the course of examinations.
"State institutions in Georgia are so developed that the departure or appointment of any minister won't violate the process. There will not be any problems both during examinations and in the further development of the education system," Shashkin said.
