Azerbaijan's first lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva has today met ambassador of Lithuania Kestutis Kudzmanas who completes his diplomatic mission in the country.
Aliyeva said bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Lithuania were steadily developing.
The Azerbaijani first lady wished Kudzmanas successes in his future activity.
Mehriban Aliyeva thanked the diplomat for fruitful cooperation with the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, expressing hope that the implementation of joint projects between the two countries would be continued.
"I'm sure our cooperation experience is an example of how to establish relations between friendly countries."
Kudzmanas hailed projects implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
The ambassador spoke of work and projects carried out as part of a Memorandum of Understanding on humanitarian cooperation signed between the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Embassy of Lithuania in Azerbaijan during his tenure.
He added these projects would be continued.
