Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev has today met Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

During the meeting, they stressed the importance of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit in Baku.

President Ilham Aliyev and Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan praised development of friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey in various fields, including political and economic ones.

They expressed confidence friendly and fraternal ties between the two countries would continue to expand.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today also met his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon.

During the meeting, the presidents stressed the importance of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit in Baku.

They expressed confidence this summit would contribute to expanding cooperation among the organization`s member states.

The Heads of State praised development of bilateral relations in a variety of fields.
They recalled reciprocal visits at the level of presidents.

The Azerbaijani and Tajik leaders noted the role of these visits in strengthening of bilateral ties.

They expressed confidence relationship between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan would continue to strengthen.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has also met with Pakistani counterpart Asif Ali Zardari.

During the meeting, they expressed confidence the 12th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in Baku would contribute to developing cooperation among the regional countries.

The presidents hailed development of bilateral relationship between Azerbaijan and Pakistan.

The Heads of State said there were good prospects for enhancing bilateral relations even more, stressing the necessity of joint activity on this front.

The Azerbaijani and Pakistani leaders underlined the necessity of implementing joint projects in a variety of fields.

They stressed the importance of continuing joint efforts to develop cooperation in the field of agriculture and banking sector.

The presidents expressed confidence relations between the two countries would continue to strengthen.
