Proposals made by the Azerbaijani delegation were included in the final resolution adopted at the autumn session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, held in Prague, said the head of the Permanent Mission of Azerbaijan to NATO Khazar Ibrahim.

He said, despite the fact that the routes for the withdrawal of NATO troops from Afghanistan in 2014 were reflected in this resolution, route through the Caspian Sea - South Caucasus corridor was not included in the document. This route was added when the deputies of the Azerbaijani delegation raised this issue.

Ibrahim noted that the resolution included the routes of Central Asia, Russia and Pakistan.

"The South Caucasus corridor linking Azerbaijan and Georgia - is the shortest and best route. This route was included in the resolution, owning to the efforts made by the Azerbaijani deputies, said Ibrahim.
