Top official: Development model of Azerbaijan and Turkey exemplary worldwide
Azerbaijan, Baku, Nov. 23 / Trend R. Hafizoglu /
Despite the global economic crisis, Azerbaijan and Turkey are the most developing countries in Eurasia.
Development model of Azerbaijan and Turkey is cited as an example in the world, Head of Azerbaijani Presidential Administration's Social and Political Department Ali Hasanov said while visiting the Heydar Aliyev park in the Turkish city of Kocaeli on Friday, Turkish news agency Ihlas reported.
"The Azerbaijani and Turkish peoples are developing day by day. The economy is developing. The population of these countries is growing," Hasanov said, adding that certain forces that dislike Azerbaijan and Turkey, the Turkic people sometimes create obstacles.
But no force can resist the determination, will, and power of the presidents and peoples of the two countries, Hasanov believes. "In addition to uniting the economy, culture and forces of the two peoples, we will have a policy that will strengthen them in the global world," Hasanov underscored.
He noted that supply of Azerbaijani oil and gas resources to the world markets through Turkey, and efforts taken by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev for construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway create great opportunities for Turkey and offer a great advantage in ensuring the future of the two peoples.
"By bringing together economic and political efforts, Azerbaijan and Turkey do not take any actions contradicting the interests of others, do not claim to anyone's territory and wealth," he said.
