The meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, chairman of the Social Democratic Party Rasim Lyaich was held at the ruling New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) on Monday.

Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan party (NAP), Ali Ahmedov said the cooperation between the parties and the two countries will be developed even more after that. He added that there is a potential for the development of economic and other relations between the two countries.

Ahmedov also noted that there is effective communication between the Social Democratic Party and the NAP.

Rasim Lyaich, in turn, said that relations between the two parties will contribute to the cooperation between the countries.

Lyaich noted that 21 agreements in various fields were signed between the countries over the past three years and noted that an agreement on strategic cooperation will be signed between Serbia and Azerbaijan in February 2013. According to him, it will be the peak of cooperation between the two countries.

Deputy Prime Minister said that Serbia supports the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
