U.S., Georgia sign agreement on fund distribution for joint programs

The U.S. and Georgia have signed an agreement on distribution of funds for projects of bilateral cooperation. As Georgian Defence Ministry told Trend, a delegation of U.S. Department of Defence visited the ministry.

The U.S. and Georgia have signed an agreement on distribution of funds for projects of bilateral cooperation. As Georgian Defence Ministry told Trend, a delegation of U.S. Department of Defence visited the ministry.

The visit is aimed to review financial support for bilateral cooperation. The sides discussed military aid projects of the past and coming years and the financial aspects.

A document on distribution of funds for projects of bilateral cooperation between the U.S. and Georgia was signed at the meeting.

According to the Defence Ministry, the document was signed by the deputy chief of the Joint Staff of Georgian Armed Forces, Colonel Lasha Beridze and regional director for Europe and Africa of the U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency Thomas Keithly.
