The European Union considers Azerbaijan as an interesting and reliable partner, EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle said during his speech "EU-Azerbaijan relations" at the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy in Baku on Friday.
"We consider it as a partner in intern security, energy security, in culture and education.
Füle stressed that the EU-Azerbaijan partnership has enormous potential.
"I believe we can build solid foundation for prosperity development," he said.
"The EU-Azerbaijan relations are developing through the Eastern partnership. Eastern partnership will bring the relations to a new level. It will strengthen the links between Azerbaijani and European people," Füle said.
He said the EU is interested in deepening relations with Azerbaijan.
