Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met with Vice President of India Hamid Ansari during his visit to the country, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported on Friday.
Vice President of India talked about achievements of the country in the fields of energy, industry and information technology and noted that he is interested in development of cooperation in these areas. Ansari also stressed the importance of mutual visits.
Minister expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and noted that Azerbaijan and India have potential for the development of relations in the fields of energy, trade and culture.
The sides also discussed regional and international issues.
