Iranian Foreign Minister will visit Azerbaijan in the near future.
Azerbaijani and Iranian Foreign Ministers Elmar Mammadyarov and Ali Akbar Salehi discussed the bilateral and regional issues during a telephone conversation, spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Elman Abdullayev told media on Monday.
Azerbaijani minister invited his Iranian counterpart to visit Azerbaijan.
The telephone conversation was initiated by Iran's Foreign Minister.
The ministers also discussed the upcoming Friends of Syria meeting, to be held in Tehran on May 29.
