The government must fulfill the requirements of the protesters, Tayfun Kahraman said on behalf of the delegation of protesters in Taksim Square after the meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc.
According to Kahraman, all the citizens arrested during the protests should be immediately released.
Kahraman added that in some provinces police continues taking strict measures against the protesters.
It was reported before that Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc will receive a delegation of Taksim Square protesters.
On June 4, Arinc said that the Turkish government is ready to discuss the demands of protesters. The government expects no radical actions to be taken.
Deputy Prime Minister also added that the damage from the protests in Turkey hits over 70 million lira.
The rallies in support of the protesters in the Gezi park on Taksim Square in downtown Istanbul were held in various Turkish towns.
