Turkish President congratulates Turkic world on occasion of Ramadan

Turkish President Abdullah Gul congratulated the Turkic and the whole Islamic world with the coming of Ramadan holiday, Anadolu agency reported on Wednesday.
Gul wished well-being and development to the Turkic peoples of the world.
In his congratulatory speech Gul said that the reforms on democratizing and promoting freedom of expression in Turkey will continue.
"Turkey is an important country of the region and has a certain influence on regional developments. Therefore, Turkey needs to remain calm in the face of events happening in the country and the world," the President said.
Gul also said that there is no need to worry for Turkeys' fate, as a farsighted policy directed towards development is being carried out in the country.
