The youth should be at the forefront of the struggle against separatism, terrorism and occupation, Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party, a member of the Standing Committee of ICAPP Ali Ahmadov said at the meeting of the youth wing of the II International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) in Baku.

The youth are the future of every nation and the world in general. One of the major responsibilities of ICAPP is to prepare young people of the conference member-states for the future, Ahmadov said.

"We are proud of our youth and commend them as a capital and the guarantor of our future," he said.

Executive Secretary of the ruling party said that Asia will contribute to the future of the world, adding that the youth has to properly evaluate this and establish a strong foundation for future development.

"The world is rapidly evolving, and in some regions this development is accompanied by poverty and conflict. The tragedy, occurring in one place, has an impact on other places. For this reason, it is necessary that all people unite to create a better future for the world," Ahmadov said.

Stressing that Azerbaijan is a young and fast-growing country, the NAP Executive Secretary noted that the youth play a crucial role in this development.

After informing the participants about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Ahmadov said the conflict that continues to this day still has a negative impact on the lives of many young people.
