The core team of OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission to presidential elections in Azerbaijan consists of 13 international experts, according to the program of OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission to Azerbaijan.

According to the program, the core team members include Tana de Zulueta (Head of the Mission from Italy) and Harald Hartvig Jepsen (Deputy Head of Mission from Denmark).

Other members include: Vadim Zhdanovich (political analyst from Russia), Adolfo Cayuso Martinez (election analyst from Spain), Pavel Cabacenco (election analyst from Moldova), Meaghan McCabe Fitzgerald (U.S. legal analyst), Elma Sehalic (German media analyst), Masha Janusevic (Serbian coordinator of long-term observers), Pawel Krzysztof Jurczak (operations expert from Poland), Valeriu Mija (security expert from Moldova), Sasa Pokrajac (parliamentary liaison from Serbia), Lela Tsaava (Georgian procurement and contracting officer), Roman Railean (financial officer from Moldova).

According to the program, 30 long-term observers and 280 short-term observers will arrive in Baku.

According to the program, long-term observers will arrive in Baku on September 9 and short-term observers - on October 5. It is planned that the long-term observers will be deployed throughout the country on September 11 and short-term observers - on October 7.

According to the program, the briefing of long-term observers is planned for September 10-11, and the briefing of short-term observers - for October 6. The short-term observers will be familiarized with the areas of observation on October 8. Press conference on preliminary findings and conclusions is scheduled for October 10.

According to the program, the departure of short-term observers is scheduled for October 11, the departure of long-term observers - for October 15 and the departure of the core team - for October 19.

Presidential elections in Azerbaijan will be held on October 9.
