President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva have yesterday attended the opening of the Training and Surgical Clinic of Azerbaijan Medical University.
The Head of State cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the Clinic.
Rector of Azerbaijan Medical University, MP Ahliman Amiraslanov informed the President about the activities of the facility.
The 13-storey building has 18 departments and 20 units.
President Ilham Aliyev was told about the construction work and landscaping in the yard of the Training and Surgical Clinic.
The Head of State then met teachers and students of the University.
Rector Ahliman Amiraslanov, head of department Adila Namazova, student Khatun Mammadova thanked the President for his attention to development of healthcare.
President Ilham Aliyev and Mehriban Aliyeva also spoke to participants of the ceremony.
