Trend: Turkish "State Award" was assigned to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev by his Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul, Turkish TRT Haber TV channel reported on Nov. 12.
Afterwards, President Ilham Aliyev awarded Abdullah Gul with "Heydar Aliyev" order.
After the award ceremony, the Azerbaijani and Turkish Presidents delivered speeches.
According to the information, Azerbaijani First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, and political leaders of both countries attended the award ceremony.
