Member of the Turkish parliament, Ilhan Isbilen has resigned from the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), according to the Turkish Milliyet newspaper.
The MP explained the reason for his resignation is on account of the ruling party's wrong policy in the country, the newspaper said.
It should be noted that in total, nine MPs have resigned from Turkey's ruling party following the beginning of an anti-corruption operation in Turkey on December 17.
