Some 30 members of Turkish Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) have left the organization in Ankara, Turkish Anadolu news agency reported on Feb.18.

The reason for this step was their dissatisfaction with the policy pursued by the party and its pre-election strategy.

Municipal elections in Turkey will be held on March 30.

The main rivalry in the elections is expected to be between the Turkish Republican People's Party (CHP) and the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP).
