Some 500 people left Turkish opposition party ranks for a day
Baku, Azerbaijan, March 7
By Rufiz Hafizoglu - Trend:
Some 500 members of the opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) left the organization for a day in the south- western province of Antalya in Turkey, the Turkish Sabah newspaper reported on March 7.
The reason for this step was their dissatisfaction with the policy pursued by the party and its pre-election strategy.
Municipal elections in Turkey will be held on March 30, 2014.
It is expected that the main rivalry in the elections will be between the Turkish Republican People's Party (CHP) and the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) of the country.
