Israel intends to develop and deepen relations with Azerbaijan

This year has been a great year in terms of bilateral relations of Azerbaijan and Israel, according to Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Rafael Harpaz.
The ambassador made these remarks speaking to journalists at an event dedicated to Israel's national holiday - Independence Day.
Harpaz went on to add that Israel intends to develop and deepen relationship with Azerbaijan in the future.
He said the Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman's visit to Azerbaijan was very fruitful and successful.
"We decided to develop relations in many areas, including in tourism, trade and agriculture. We have a good cooperation in the energy sector," the ambassador added.
The diplomat also said Israel has recently discovered natural gas fields and is interested in studying Azerbaijan's experience.
"The relations between the two countries are at a good level in all spheres," Harpaz stressed.
