Georgia's ruling party "Georgian Dream" leads in local elections after counting the votes at 1166 polling stations with 50.74%. According to CEC, "United National Movement" hold second position with 23,13%.

Georgia's ruling party "Georgian Dream" leads in local elections after counting the votes at 1166 polling stations with 50.74%. According to CEC, "United National Movement" hold second position with 23,13%.

Next comes the coalition "Nino Burjanadze - United Opposition" - 10.26%, "Alliance of Georgian patriots" 4.75%, Non-parliamentary opposition -2.46%.

The other parties failed to gain 1% of the vote.

Some 24 political entities will participate in the municipal elections in Georgia on June 15, twenty of which are parties, while the remaining four - the political blocs.
