Azerbaijani Presidential Administration's Deputy Head and Director of Administration's Foreign Relations Department, Novruz Mammadov accused The Washington Post newspaper of conducting anti-Azerbaijani propaganda.
"While unaware of Azerbaijan's location, I wonder whom The Washington Post gets this 'accurate information' from," Mammadov tweeted.
"In the West a campaign against those who write objective articles on Azerbaijan is launched. Is this what democracy looks like?" he added.
The Washington Post newspaper and other western media outlets have recently started publishing materials containing biased information about Azerbaijan.
