Azerbaijan and Great Britain have signed a military cooperation plan for 2015-2016 fiscal year, Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry said on Oct.3.
The plan was signed during the staff negotiations between the military departments of the two countries, according to the ministry.
From the Azerbaijani side, the document was signed by the head of the International Military Cooperation Department of Defense Ministry, Huseyn Mahmudov and from the UK side by Debbie Brothers, Deputy Head of Bilateral Relations, NATO and Europe Policy, Ministry of Defense.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects for cooperation between the two countries, as well as the regional security issues.
