Moldovan Foreign Ministry has commented on the recall of 10 diplomats of the country, including the Moldovan Ambassador to Azerbaijan Igor Bodiu, the press service of the Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Trend May 27.

The diplomats were recalled according to Constitutional provisions and the Law 761-XV, from December 27th 2001, regarding the diplomatic service, as their mandate had expired.

On May 26, during the meeting of the government of Moldova, 10 ambassadors were recalled at the suggestion of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova Natalia Gherman.

The following diplomats have been recalled: Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Moldova to the Council of Europe Tatiana Parvu; Moldovan Ambassador to Finland, Norway and Sweden Emil Druc; Moldovan Ambassador to Belgium Mihai Gribincea; Moldovan Ambassador to Latvia Alexei Cracan; Moldovan Ambassador to Estonia Victor Guzun; Moldovan Ambassador to Lithuania Igor Klipii; Moldovan Ambassador to Portugal Valeriu Turea; Moldovan Ambassador to Bulgaria Alexandru Prigorschi; Moldovan Ambassador to Azerbaijan Igor Bodiu; Moldovan Ambassador to the USA Igor Munteanu.

Moldovan Ambassador to Azerbaijan Igor Bodiu was appointed to this post in August 2010.
