Vahan Martirosyan, the head of the National Liberation Movement organization, asked for a political asylum in Azerbaijan.
The opposition organization headed by Martirosyan was persecuted by the state agencies and some authorized people in Armenia.
Martirosyan fled to Azerbaijan and asked for a political asylum to protect himself and his family.
In this regard, a press conference will be held at the International Press Center Sept. 18.
