Russia is now home to many Azerbaijanis, Azerbaijani youth, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva said in an interview with Russian reporters Oct.31.
She made the remarks while taking part in the 6th forum of Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia "AMOR: for worthy future of young people."
She said that it is always a great pleasure for her to be in Russia.
This conference is held in order to unite these young people, to help them to integrate into the Russian society, according to Leyla Aliyeva.
Issues of education, environment will be discussed during the forum, according to her.
"Ecology is very important to us," Leyla Aliyeva said. "I know that Russia pays special attention to environmental protection, as well as our country does. We want to cooperate even more closely with Russia in this area. In addition, such issues as culture, sports - everything that interests young people, will be touched upon during the forum."
Leyla Aliyeva went on to add that the number of talented people among the Azerbaijani youth in Russia increases.
Today, AMOR has its offices in more than 70 regions of Russia, said the vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, adding that it is very pleasing that young people themselves show great enthusiasm.
