Security forces of Azerbaijan taking steps to prevent possible security threats

Ministry of national security of Azerbaijan in conjunction with other law enforcement agencies is taking all the necessary measures to prevent possible threats and challenges to national interests and security of Azerbaijan, the head of the department for public affairs of the ministry Arif Babayev told Trend Nov.14.
He said that the operational situation is under control.
Referring to the recent terror attack in Paris, the ministry of internal affairs told Trend that the fight against terrorism is not the business of one country, all countries must unite in the fight against terrorism.
The State Border Service of Azerbaijan also told Trend that the service continues to carry out secure protection of state borders vigilantly and with the whole responsibility.
Gunmen and bombers attacked restaurants, a concert hall and a sports stadium at locations across Paris Nov.13, killing at least 120 people in a deadly rampage that President Francois Hollande called an unprecedented terrorist attack.
Four gunmen systematically slaughtered at least 87 young people attending a rock concert at the Bataclan music hall. Some 40 more people were killed in five other attacks in the Paris region, including an apparent double suicide bombing outside the national stadium, where the French president Hollande and the German foreign minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier were watching a friendly soccer international. Some 200 people were injured.
