The World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue is very important for all the peoples of the world, Director of the International Institute for Central Asian Studies (IICAS) Pilho Park told Trend May 4.
Park noted that from this point of view, Azerbaijan carries out very useful work for the whole world.
The IICAS director is participating in the 4th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, titled “Advancing Intercultural Dialogue – New avenues for human security, peace and sustainable development”, kicked off in Baku on May 4.
He stressed that Azerbaijan makes an important contribution to ensuring peace and stability, promoting intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding in the world, said Park.
Being located in a geographically important place on the planet, Azerbaijan is a significant country for peace, and in particular, a key element of the Silk Way transport corridor, he added.
