Azerbaijani, Russian officials mull security co-op

Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev and Head of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev discussed the current issues of the Russia-Azerbaijan security cooperation.

Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev and Head of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev discussed the current issues of the Russia-Azerbaijan security cooperation.

The parties signed a plan of cooperation for regular exchange of information and consultations at the level of security councils, law enforcement and special service experts of the two countries.

Patrushev and his Belarus and Uzbek counterparts, Stansilav Zas and Viktor Mahmudov, also signed cooperation plans.

Secretary of Moldova’s Supreme Security Council Artur Gumenyuk and Nikolai Patrushev signed a protocol on cooperation between the security councils of the two countries.

During a meeting with the Secretary of the Security Council of Tajikistan Abdurahim Qahhorov, the sides discussed interaction between the security forces and special services of the two countries.
