The ‘Azerbaijan and ICESCO: New Prospects for Cooperation’ article published in the Azernews newspaper highlights the development in recent years of strong ties between Azerbaijan and ICESCO, based on common values, Trend reports.
The article outlines the successful cooperation between the parties in the spheres of education, culture, and science, especially, the visit of the ICESCO delegation to the liberated lands of Azerbaijan is emphasized as an important step in this direction.
The organization will help Azerbaijan in the restoration of monuments destroyed as a result of Armenian aggression, said the article.
The article also reads that ICESCO and Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Education discussed the prospects for further cooperation in the field of education, and the organization declared its interest in numerous projects in Azerbaijan.
Reportedly, ICESCO also discussed further plans for cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan.
