FUZULI, Azerbaijan, April 28. Representatives of the world's leading think tanks, who will take part in an international conference on "Development and cooperation in South Caucasus" in Azerbaijan’s Shusha, got acquainted with the demining process in Karabakh, Trend reports.
Before leaving for the city of Shusha, the delegation got acquainted with the work of Azerbaijan’s ANAMA Agency (mine action agency) in liberated lands from Armenian occupation.
It was noted that the mine maps handed over to Azerbaijan by the Armenian side are only 25 percent accurate, which complicates the demining process.
Also, guests were able to directly get acquainted with the process of clearing mines in one of the areas.
