BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 8. The ammunition explosion took place during testing at Shirvan's Araz munitions plant of the Ministry of Defense Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Trend reports citing the ministry.
The 60mm mortar shell explosion injured a person named Almazov Razi in the arm and thigh.
"The Shirvan City Central Hospital's doctors stated that there was no threat to his life," said the statement.
