BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 13. Clashes on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border are worrying, Turkish Presidential Spokesperson Ibrahim Kalin said on Twitter, Trend reports.

"Against the backdrop of continuing negotiations, Armenia must avoid provocative actions. Peace and stability can only be achieved on the basis of the territorial integrity and legitimate rights of Azerbaijan. Türkiye stands by Azerbaijan," Kalin noted.

On the night of September 12, the Armenian armed forces units committed large-scale provocations in the Dashkasan, Kalbajar and Lachin directions of the Azerbaijan-Armenia state border. The Armenian armed forces stationed in the directions of Basarkechar, Istisu, Garakilsa, and Gorus settlements, using weapons of various calibers, including mortars, subjected to intensive fire some positions, shelters, and strongholds of the Azerbaijan Army in the Dashkasan, Kalbajar and Lachin districts from various caliber weapons. As a result, there were losses among the military servicemen, the military infrastructure was damaged.
