BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 28. After the person who declared himself "the head" of the separatist regime and a handful of people from his entourage escaped from Azerbaijan to Armenia, his only memorable step was to demand his salary until the end of the year from the Armenian authorities, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said, Trend reports.
He spoke at a press conference on the results of 2023.
Separatists, who previously occupied Azerbaijan's Karabakh, have announced the liquidation of their regime, following Azerbaijan carrying out anti-terrorist measures on September 2023.
The "decree" of the so-called "head" of the separatist regime, Samvel Shahramanyan, notes that in accordance with the agreement reached with representatives of the Republic of Azerbaijan through the mediation of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, free and unimpeded passage of the residents of Karabakh, including disarmed military personnel, through the Lachin corridor on their own transport is ensured, in connection with which the following decision was made:
1. Dissolve all "state institutions" and "organizations" under their departmental subordination by January 1, 2024.
2. The Armenian population of Karabakh, including those outside of Karabakh, to familiarize themselves with the conditions of reintegration presented by the Republic of Azerbaijan in order to make an independent and individual decision on the possibility of staying (returning) in Karabakh.
